Homelessness
Committee Responsibilities |
-
Advocate on behalf of homeless individuals
and families in Worcester County.
-
Review
grant applications benefiting homeless individuals
and make recommendations to the County Commissioners
regarding such applications.

Assist
community service agencies and organizations in
providing crisis and transition shelter and adequate
services to homeless individuals and families.
-
Collaborate with and assist service
providers, advocates, and community members in
developing and implementing short- and long-term
solutions that prevent individuals and families in
Worcester County from becoming homeless or at-risk
of becoming homeless.

Inform and make
recommendations to the County Commissioners
regarding ways in which homelessness may be
addressed in the county.
